Frankfurt, Germany, 3 February 2026 – Bank BPS is the first bank in Poland to initiate cooperation with Regnology, a leading international provider of regulatory reporting technology. As a foundational step in the Group’s digital transformation, the bank has deployed Regnology Reporting Hub (RRH)—a modern, cloud-native system supporting regulatory submissions to domestic and EU supervisory authorities. This implementation marks the successful completion of the first stage of the Zrzeszeniowa Hurtownia Danych (ZHD) project, the Association Data Warehouse initiative within the BPS Group.

The agreement between Bank BPS and Regnology includes service delivery in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, complemented by advisory services supporting regulatory compliance. Regnology delivers the full infrastructure, software, and managed services for report automation, data validation, supervisory system integration, and operational resilience, ensuring security and business continuity in line with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

First SaaS-based Regnology implementation in Poland

The RRH platform provides the 307 Cooperative Banks in the BPS Group—and Bank BPS itself—with a single, secure, automated reporting solution designed to ensure security, business continuity and regulatory robustness. Regnology also delivers expert services to support implementation, testing, and ongoing operations. Beyond the reporting engine, the offering includesaudits, ISO certifications (9001, 22301, 27001), data recovery tests, risk and compliancereporting, and advanced analytics and automation capabilities.

"Bank BPS is the first in Poland to adopt a Regnology SaaS solution at scale for the entire group of cooperative banks in the BPS Group. This enables the elimination of manual processes while ensuring full compliance with new regulatory requirements such as DORA. We view this as a true breakthrough achievement in our ZHD programme.
A centralized reporting infrastructure not only enhances cost and operational efficiency across the BPS Group but, more importantly, lays the groundwork for building a unified data model. By automating reporting processes, we are moving confidently toward the next milestones of the ZHD project."

Tomasz Gromada, Vice President of the Management Board, Bank BPS

"The partnership between Bank BPS and Regnology is not only a technology milestone but a strategic step in the digital transformation of the cooperative banking sector in Poland. Regnology is a trusted partner for financial institutions and supervisory authorities worldwide. We deliver modern, scalable, and regulatory-compliant technology, and our platform is a global market leader—particularly in the areas covered by the ZHD programme."

Maciej Piechocki, Chief Revenue Officer, Regnology

The Zrzeszeniowa Data Warehouse (ZHD): Moving toward a unified data architecturer

By deploying the first module of the RRH platform, the BPS Group has successfully completed the initial stage of the ZHD programme. The Cooperative Banks of the BPS Group are now equipped to submit mandatory reports in line with the new regulatory framework coming into force in March 2026. A bridging solution has been delivered to support the transition from the previous operating model to the target ZHD data architecture.

The Zrzeszeniowa Data Warehouse is a strategic initiative aimed to establish a centralized data repository and to automate of both regulatory and managerial reporting across the Group. It will enable the consolidation of currently distributed,

labor-intensive back-office activities, and will supportnew group-wide shared-services capabilities including credit scoring, cross selling analytics, marketing campaigns, antifraud systems, and valuation  processes for financial instruments and collateral.

The transformation programme positions the BPS Group as a knowledge-driven organization where data—and AI-enable insights—form the foundation for decision-making and operational efficiency. Implemented as a group-wide initiative, the ZHD roadmap spans the coming three and a half years.
