A long-standing client, apoBank will now rely on Regnology’s managed services to run its regulatory processes.

Frankfurt, February 08, 2023 – Regnology, a leading software provider with a focus on regulatory reporting solutions, announces today it has been selected by Deutsche Apotheker- und Ärztebank (apoBank), Germany’s largest cooperative primary bank, to operate its regulatory reporting systems.

Following the release of a new platform generation, Abacus native, built on Kubernetes’ open-source system, apoBank has chosen Regnology to fully leverage the potential for increased operational performance. ApoBank is a long-time client of Regnology’s Abacus banking regulatory reporting solution and will begin its transition to Regnology’s Managed Services in February 2023.

Regnology’s Managed Services offer a unique Regulatory-as-a-service (“RaaS”) delivery model, offering application management and scalable infrastructure services, while handling hosting. The model also allows predictable cost of ownership based on a transparent subscription and support model, insulating customers against the cost of regulatory change.

With 20-years experience, Regnology is an early developer of a RaaS service delivery model. Over 85 financial institutions, which represent over 1,000 reporting firms across Europe, now rely on Regnology’s Managed Services to run their regulatory reporting operations. Regnology also offers augmented cloud capabilities through its Rcloud platform, a scalable solution powered by Google Cloud.

Regnology’s Abacus Banking platform has been at the heart of our regulatory reporting system since June 2020. The new generation platform opens a path of technological evolution, and we see Regnology as a natural partner to help us reap its full benefits. With this extended collaboration, we benefit from the first-class expertise regulatory reporting with scaled-up service delivery.

Johannes Kermer, Divisional Director at ApoBank

We are delighted to support apoBank by furthering our regulatory reporting expertise with our outsourced operations capabilities. Regnology will help apoBank to achieve increased efficiency, infrastructure elasticity, and controlled total cost of ownership, while keeping abreast of fast-evolving regulatory reporting requirements.
