What you'll do

As an (Senior) Business Analyst in Regnology, you will be part of our international Research & Development Team, and you’ll work within our agile development cycle in the RegTech area during on enhancing and re-launching our product called “Regnology Transactions”. 
 
Your key accountabilities are:
  • Support the end-to-end migration of legacy databases to a new platform, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance. 
  • Define and execute test cases, create test data and test suites to validate functionality and regulatory compliance. 
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on existing and future system functionalities. 
  • Analyze and refine requirements, design changes using pseudo-code, and provide guidance to developers. 
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and propose enhancements to optimize compliance processes and system efficiency. 
  • Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owner, and other teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and correctly implemented. 
  • Handle customer inquiries via hotline and ticketing system, delivering timely and accurate responses. 
  • Participate in workshops, presentations, and webinars to stay informed about market trends and customer needs.

Why we should decide on you

  • University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification. 
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial sector; knowledge of derivative financial instruments and transaction-based regulatory reporting is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex topics. 
  • Expertise in Quality Assurance, including creating, executing test cases, designing test data and test suites for functional and compliance validation.
  • Understanding of relational data models and basic SQL knowledge. 
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to identify gaps and propose process improvements through critical thinking. 
  • Collaborative mindset with a sense of responsibility and trustworthiness
Fluency in English; German is a plus.
