What you'll do
As Business Analyst, you will be part of the agile development cycle in the RegTech area during the introduction/extension of our Abacus software product Abacus Banking. This entails:
- Analyzing Polish regulatory frameworks and reporting instructions (e.g. from NBP, BFG)
- Translating regulatory requirements into structured reporting content
- Designing, implementing, and testing regulatory requirements and new features
- Producing reasonable test cases and test data and defining user stories in terms of the agile software development process as well as creating documentation for clients and internal use.
- Close collaboration with national and international colleagues at all levels and skills within the organization, e.g. Software Engineers, Architects, etc.
- Provision of customer support (Hotline, Workshops, User Groups) and support of customer projects.
Why we should decide on you
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a financial, regulatory, or software context
- Strong knowledge of Polish banking regulations (NBP, KRF, BFG) and financial accounting standards (especially Polish Gaap and IFRS)
- Understanding of banking products (loans, deposits, securities)
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Proficient in both English and Polish (written and spoken)
- You are located in Poland
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with regulatory reporting software such as Abacus360, AxiomSL or similar
- Understanding of data modeling and structured reporting frameworks (e.g., XBRL, DPM)
