What you'll do

As a Regnology SupTech Technical Consultant you will utilize defined tools and processes to build and deploy releases both internally and into client environments. You will utilize defined tools and processes to manage migration from an existing data collection system to the new SupTech system.   
You will work within a project team(s) within the Professional Services department, to enable the deployment of application releases to development, test, and production environments. Deploying across multiple on-premise servers and cloud infrastructure. 
This position is mid-level (not senior).

Duties:
  • Responsibility for the packaging, deployment, and delivery internal and client ready releases. 
  • Diagnosis of common deployment errors and issues. Such as unopened ports or firewall issues. 
  • Manage application configuration files for client configs. 
  • Liaise with Colleague to identify pain points in the work processes and provide feedback on improvements. 
  • Work with clients and internal teams to create a data migration plan using internal tools. 
  • Ensure applications can successfully communicate to one another
  • Work with Project Managers, Software Engineers, QA & Configuration Leads to ensure smooth releases. 
  • Ask the right questions to clarify a situation to ensure the correct understanding of requirements, issues, and limitations. 
  • Work with stakeholders and internal teams to ensure the release roadmap is clearly planned and communicated.

  • Jenkins, Octopus or other continuous integration & delivery tools. 
  • Experience working with GIT, Subversion or similar version control tool(s). 
  • Experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, PowerShell, VMWare. 
  • Knowledge of and experience with VPN tools. 
  • Knowledge of and experience with structured data formats, e.g., XML 
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English - verbal and written. 
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills. 
  • Must have current work visa for Singapore. 
Preferable 
  • Azure, AWS, GCP knowledge. 
  • Experience designing and provisioning test and development environments according to requirements. 
  • Deep Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools is an advantage. 
  • Experience of writing and understanding SQL queries. 
  • Ability to create scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
