What you'll do
As a Senior Java Software Engineer,based in Tunis, you will play a key role in the future of our regulatory reporting framework in the RegTech domain. Beyond contributing your technical expertise, you will have the opportunity to mentor and inspire a team of developers as part of our Agile & International Research & Development team.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level features using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop high-performance, maintainable Java code that meets technical and business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful software solutions.
- Contribute to key architectural decisions and technical designs.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability in a cloud-based environment.
Coach and mentor developers, promoting best practices, collaboration and professional growth

- 7+ years of professional Java development experience, particularly with Java and Spring Boot.
- Based in Tunis
- Proven experience in designing and implementing clean code.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.
- Experience in performance optimization, including GC tuning, heap analysis, and thread analysis.
- Experience in Agile software development environments.
- Experience with Maven and Jenkins for continuous integration.
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker, including a good understanding of containerization, pods, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring, guiding teams, and promoting a collaborative team culture.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a passion for working in an international, growing company.
