The German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht - BaFin) launched a consultation (to run until 4 December 2020) on draft amendments to its circular “Minimum Requirements for Risk Management” (Mindestanforderungen an das Risikomanagement - MaRisk). The current changes implement the European Banking Authority (EBA) guidelines (GL) on the management of non-performing and forborne exposures (NPEs & FBEs) (EBA/GL/2018/06), the EBA GL on outsourcing (EBA/GL/2019/02), and the EBA GL on the management of information and communications technology (ICT) and security risks (EBA/GL/2019/04).
