What you'll do

As Senior Software Engineer,  you will be part of our international Research & Development Team and you’ll work within our agile development cycle in the RegTech area during on enhancing and re-launching our product called “Abacus Transactions”
  • You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, testing and documenting regulatory changes and client specific technical requirements together with the developers and architects in your team.  
  • You will contribute into improving the current system (QA testing, release process, automation) as well as implementing the future of our regulatory software.
  • You will be working closely with national (Sibiu) and international colleagues at all levels and skills within the organization on all facets of the agile software development process 
  • You will have the opportunity to develop yourself personally and professionally and to share your knowledge with your colleagues in coaching and training sessions

Why we should decide on you

  • Successfully completed university degree in computer science or comparable training
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in software development 
  • You have experience in developing data-driven applications in Java, SQL, and profound knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases
  • You have developed production-ready Java applications and ideally gathered hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes as well as profound database knowledge
  • You know your ways around the development tool chain (Maven, Jenkins) and common testing frameworks (Junit, Mockito)
  • You are passionate about working internationally in a constantly growing, agile company 
  • You have a hands-on mentality and think outside the box to effectively integrate your own ideas into the business   
  • You have a proactive and communicative personality, and you use feedback as a basis for optimization
