What you'll do

As a (Junior) Consultant (m/f/d), you will be part of our international Professional Services team and will support our clients on site/remote with the implementation of our Abacus solutions. 
  • Support the implementation our Abacus RegTech solution at financial services customers
  • Work closely with customers and advise them on configuration, data requirements and the software functionality to meet their business needs
  • Provide subject Matter Expertise on financial regulation as well as reporting requirements and advise clients on the implementation
  • Gain valuable insights into regulatory (reporting) requirements, the financial industry, and its products as well as software implementation projects by, e.g., participating in the development of new software requirements due to changed regulations
  • Support new team members during the onboarding process 
  • Research new and upcoming developments in financial and supervisory reporting
  • Define and test functional software requirements to comply with local supervisors
  • Support business development (e.g., support sales meetings, proposals, solution visions) 

Why we should decide on you

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent
  • A young professional with 0-3 years of work experience, preferably in the financial services segment (i.e., insurance or banking), but candidates with other backgrounds are also encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of financial products and regulatory reporting or risk management is a plus, but can also be acquired through self-study and internal training 
  • Team-player with a can-do attitude, who likes to work in a fast-paced environment and is searching for an opportunity to take on responsibility
  • Strong analytical skills are required
  • IT affinity and basic knowledge of relational database structures are a plus
  • Willingness to travel domestically and within Europe (less than 20%) 
  • Excellent communication skills in English spoken and written; Dutch is a plus
